For many years I regularly experienced the mid-month crisis (I will write about it below). It was related to the biggest bane of a freelancer – the question of what happens when there are no orders? The house is seized by a bailiff, the child is taken to a shelter, the car is listed on OLX and darkness. Because how can you effectively shoot a Client at any cost? And yet there is always something to do…

Endless possibilities
After years of toss and turn, the moment finally came when I realized that putting planning, with my work style, into a pattern consistent with full-time work is very misleading. Of course, we can spread out orders based on regular clients, but none of them last forever. However, acquiring new projects is simply... cool. After all, I needed remote work precisely so that I wouldn't be stuck in one place for 8 hours when spring is just starting outside and I would most like to go for a walk. So that I could do something different every day and escape the monotony. After years, I had to clearly define whether it was stability or freedom. And this freedom prevailed, because it constantly wins for me and gives me joy. To find balance, you have to remember that not everything can be sped up , sometimes you have to let it flow at a natural pace.

Don't be an island
Collaboration is something I used to have a hard time swallowing. Until one day I heard from someone: let me help you sort this out . And so, week after week, month after month, I slowly started building a stable position. I needed a specific project manager who wouldn't sugarcoat things for me, but would "hit me between the eyes", often triggering a large dose of gurgling and cackling in me.

However, by asking, talking and expanding my circle of acquaintances with people whose cooperation I can use in the event of larger projects, I have built a solid background. It has bhutan leads dozens of industries, but I know that you cannot be a specialist in everything and delegating tasks is important. Just to build solid and honest support, which gives us the opportunity to talk to the Client about really diverse orders.


Shoot yourself a project
Okay, so where is the best place to get orders? Everywhere, really. Advertising is omnipresent, and the market is still unlimited. The question is to move from determination to calm action and building a financial cushion. Then you can free yourself from constant thoughts about the lack of orders and wait out the weaker times.
